Why I built Vaanga
My wife grew up speaking Tamil at home.
When I met her family, I realized how much I wanted to understand their conversations and be part of them.
Most resources teach textbook Tamil, but that is not how families actually speak.
So I started collecting the phrases people really use at home.
Vaanga means “come.”
This project is an invitation.
